‼️ BREAKING: Discord has started enforcing age verification, sorting every account into adult, teen or unconfirmed age groups with a model it says reads account history and activity.
Adults it places in the wrong group must prove their age by credit card, video selfie or ID scan to reach age-restricted spaces, less than a year after a vendor breach exposed ID photos of about 70,000 Discord users.

Russia’s Largest Stock Exchange MOEX to Launch Crypto Perpetual Futures on BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP and TRX
Moscow Exchange (MOEX), Russia’s largest stock exchange, will launch perpetual futures linked to its BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP and TRX indices on September 22. The contracts will be available only to qualified investors, quoted in U.S. dollars and settled in Russian rubles without delivery of the underlying crypto assets. MOEX said more than 72,000 qualified investors have traded its crypto-linked futures since the first products launched last summer, with cumulative trading volume exceeding RUB 600 billion.

Some people who do not understand Crypto like native Degens waiting that something best will come next and they will hop on train, but they do not realizing the best projects are already in.
CT still doesn't understand this.
Arbitrum doesn't only have the 4th biggest treasury in all of crypto.
It's also the largest token-controlled chain treasury (by $ARB) with:
> Multiple lines of business outside of tx fees
> A meaningful amount of ETH, Stables, RWAs
> Broadening adoption of the core tech inwhich revenue is downstream of that
Most people will be too late in realizing that Arbitrum is becoming more like a traditional company in its operations, with $ARB acting closer to an equity-proxy than your average crypto coin.
A bigger treasury from its businesses means more capital to reinvest into the platform for long term sustainability and eco growth.
There's a massive moat being built, and it's happening infront of everyone's eyes.

Before the post-mortems and the planning sessions begin, a note of thanks.
Many of you worked extremely hard on this bill over the last 18 months. You fought harder than most people will ever know to make sure we had a good product that actually worked for crypto. It required countless hours of research and analysis; endless calls and meetings to build consensus; rewriting the same sections over and over to find common ground; winning points and making concessions one by one in pursuit of an ambitious goal.
Those efforts were a success. The bill did not pass, but neither did you compromise on your principles or the ultimate goal. It would have been easy to strike deal at any point by simply giving up and rolling over, and you were asked to do so every single day for 18 months. You did not. Your strength, courage, and confidence won the day. You should be proud.
Many of us said since the start of this process that no bill is better than a bad bill, and by that metric, today is a victory. The Senate considered a good bill today, not a perfect one but a good one, and turned it down. The raw politics of the United States during an election year meant a good deal was not on the table. That's okay.
Crypto will be fine without the Clarity Act. We are lucky to have two agencies, the SEC and CFTC, with all of the excellent staff and authority they need to do the job. They're ready to be unleashed, and so they shall be. The future of crypto policy is bright.
Thank you all for your hard work. Breathe a sigh of relief, take a break, and get ready for what's next. We've only just gotten started.

THE BLOCK: Standard Chartered has initiated coverage of Arbitrum's ethereum:0xb50721bcf8d664c30412cfbc6cf7a15145234ad1, forecasting that its price could rise around 70x from $0.14 to $10 by the end of 2030.
The bank cited growth in tokenized assets and Robinhood Chain, which it expects to generate around $5 million in fees for Arbitrum in September.

Very good lesson for researchers. If you do research with using AI, your research is actually not your anymore. Btw this is kind of similar to the "not your keys not your Crypto".
🦔An NYU mathematician says OpenAI used his own progress against him to beat him to one of the biggest unsolved problems in mathematics. Tristan Buckmaster had been working toward a Millennium Prize proof using OpenAI's Codex when information about his progress reached OpenAI.
Days later, OpenAI published a full proof of the same problem using the same uncommon approach, after burning $22.5 million in compute to get there. When Buckmaster confronted them, exec Sébastien Bubeck allegedly said "Why would you ruin your career?" and "If you don't want me to be nice, then I don't have to be nice."
My Take
OpenAI spent $22.5 million to solve a problem with a $1 million prize. They didn't do this for the bounty. They needed a headline that says "our AI solved one of the hardest problems in mathematics" and they needed it before someone else got credit. They started days after they heard about Buckmaster's progress and took the same uncommon approach he'd pursued for months. That's hard to explain as coincidence.
Buckmaster did his work inside Codex. OpenAI reserves the right to train on Codex data. They admit they can't rule out that his usage helped improve their models. So a customer used their product, potentially handed them the roadmap, and then OpenAI outran him with $22.5 million in compute he could never match. I don't know if any of this was intentional. But if you're a researcher and you just watched this happen, I don't think you'd keep your best ideas inside someone else's product.
