I have seen some frustration lately around Monad ecosystem assets, memes, NFTs, liquidity, prices, etc.
I understand where some of it comes from. If you are holding an asset that isn’t doing well, 300ms blocks probably aren’t the first thing on your mind.
But I also think sometimes we measure the entire progress of a chain by the performance of the assets on top of it.
Monad has 300ms blocks, 600ms finality, full EVM compatibility, MonadBFT, MonadDB, parallel and asynchronous execution, and an EVM client built from the ground up.
I am not technical enough to explain everything happening under the hood, and I won’t pretend to be.
But the value of what is being built underneath all of this doesn’t necessarily show up in a floor price or a chart today. For developers, teams, and users building for the longer term, that progress matters too.
Both conversations can exist at the same time.
