OBSERVING $ZEC I THINK: PATIENCE IS ALSO A POSITION ✍️
Earlier Last yr, $ZEC was trading around $43.
Today, it's trading around $1,500+.
That's not just a price move.
It's a lesson....and what's the lesson?🤔
Imagine seeing ZEC at $43 and thinking:
“Nothing is happening.”
You buy.
It moves sideways.
You wait.
You get bored.
You start questioning your thesis.
This is where most people lose patience.
The market doesn't reward you simply because you were early.
It rewards you for being right AND patient.
Being early without patience is almost the same as being wrong or don't you think so?
Think about how many people probably sold ZEC during the quiet periods.... those consolidation phases
Some took 10%.
Some took 30%.
Some got tired and moved to another coin.
Meanwhile, the market kept building, Silently for that matter
This is why I don't believe every trade needs instant gratification.
Sometimes the best position is the one that looks boring for months before the market finally recognizes it.
Crypto will constantly tempt you to chase the next narrative.
New coin.
New pump.
New meta.
New 100x or even a thousand x
But sometimes your biggest opportunity is simply sitting on the position you already researched.
Patience doesn't mean blindly holding...
It means having a thesis, managing your risk, and giving the trade enough time to play out.
If the thesis is invalidated, you leave.
If it remains valid, you don't panic because price isn't moving fast enough.
You don't always need to catch the candle.
Sometimes you need to catch the trend.
And catching the trend requires the patience to survive the boring part.
The hardest part of trading isn't always finding the next opportunity.
Sometimes it's having an opportunity in front of you...
…and having the discipline not to abandon it too early.
Markets transfer money from the impatient to the patient.
Not every hold becomes ZEC.
Not every thesis works.
But the principle remains and what's the principle?
Do your research.
Manage your risk.
Trust your process.
Give good ideas time.
I believe someone is already looking at ZEC at $1,500 and saying:
“Imagine buying this at $43.”
But they probably won't remember how boring it felt when nobody cared.
That's the part people forget.
Patience is not doing nothing.
Patience is having the conviction to wait while the market does what it needs to do.
