the optimist says it’s half human
the pessimist says it’s half monster
and the project manager says, “when can we ship it?”
my corporate horror comedy game just released! you can grab it on Steam and itch <3

i shelved it because i got to a point where the story was just too muddled and i had no idea what i was doing with it. it was a fun concept at the time but didn't actually have a solid narrative backbone and i've grown a lot as a gamedev since then
i'm releasing my game in a few days! it's a horror comedy where you explore an abandoned lab but your only form of navigation is a shitty AI visor <3

recently released a closed demo of the newest PROXIMATE build, about 20-30 minutes of content, for my Patreon subscribers. if you'd like to support development and get access to the newest demo, please consider subscribing 💖

the platform i've built here may not be very useful to my current projects but i can at least make sure that a few thousand people will see this weird fucking cat that i'm petsitting
ALT photo of my work desk. there is a screen with Unity and Vscode open that's partially obscured by a cat who's standing on the desk and staring straight into the camera. the cat has a hunched and awkward pose and a facial expression that looks a lot like what mine probably did when i fell into a k-hole and spent an hour throwing up in a gutter behind a club. generally he looks very fucked up and also has no desire to move or change this situation in any way
hi i'm working on a new thing. it's a dread-based narrative game where you explore an undersea lab, with your only form of navigation being an unreliable AI built by techbro hypsters.
i've got a 5-10 minute demo so far if you want to check it out 💖

ALT A screenshot from the game: a low-res visor with the word "AIRLOCK" in the center. A compass and proximity data is on either side.
ALT An incoming call from the player's manager, "GENE M.". He's listed as being the Senior Consultant in the Innovation Department.
ALT A text conversation between two people, Willow and Ells.
Willow: why are you texting me lol. i'm like two desks away from you
Ells: i am leaving an ontological record. future historians have the right to know that resurrection was discovered by two bella/mae shippers
hi! i'm the guy who made the game. i really recommend making little games like this, it's such a fun and cathartic way to share things with people. i used bitsy for this and it's a great way to get a game out quick: ledoux.itch.io/bitsy
awesome! i didn't get a chance to test it myself on linux so i'm glad it works on wine at least. there's also a native linux build attached, did that end up not working?
