just a friendly reminder to please keep watermarks intact when using other people’s fancams or content in your edits. different content owners have different boundaries: some don’t allow reposting at all, some require permission, and some may not mind. but if you’re using someone else’s content, please make sure they’re properly credited. i’ve seen quite a number of edits where the original owner wasn’t credited, or worse, their watermark was completely cropped out. if the watermark can’t be kept visible in the edit, you can always add the their username somewhere clearly visible instead. do remember that these people spent their own money, time, and effort to attend the event and capture that content. seeing it being used without permission, or worse, with their watermarks removed, can already be disheartening, and even more so when the edit ends up gaining more traction than the original content itself. i’ve seen many people express discomfort over their content being used without permission or having their watermarks removed, so please try to ask for permission where necessary and respect their reposting rules. i’m sure none of us would like our own content or edits being used without proper credit either, so let’s extend the same courtesy to others.

#pranpreedadt #dewtee
