Lately I've been reading books that mirror whatever collection I'm working on. It gives me endless inspiration and context. As I finish "Mild Mishaps in the Wild West," a 20-piece video art collection debuting soon, it's been tales of the absolute insanity of the American frontier. The West gave us breathtaking, raw wilderness. We turned it into an amusement park. The uncomfortable part: I can only travel thousands of miles a year to document these landscapes because we carved roads through them. The destruction is what made the documentation possible. That tension runs through the whole collection. Excited to share in the next few weeks 📺 🏜️
