I visited the Sternberg during a cross country road trip in 2021. Iwanted to visit since I read the "Oceans of Kansas" website as a kid. I found a very innovative paleontology museum, one of the best I've seen. Now, FHSU is trying to quietly close it. hayspost.com/posts/f383336f-…

The fossil collections of the Sternberg are incredible. It's a museum dedicated to the Cretaceous-period Western Interior Seaway. The possibility that this collection could be broken up would be catastrophic.
