The Big Ten was supposed to be allow viewers to listen in to the replay review but the audio only worked from the Referee, not the Replay Center.
Would have been helpful to see how the Replay Center didn’t have this out of bounds at the 11. But alas 🤷🏻♂️

Stop calling it “bizarre” and call it for what it was: “dead ass wrong.” Or, perhaps “incompetent” or “shady” come to mind. Either way, we need respected former refs like yourself to demand accountability. Also, please come out of retirement so we can send Ed Hochuli’s kid to Foot Locker. Thank you.
This will likely end up being one of the most bizarre replay reversals this year.
The runner is correctly ruled short of the goal line (albeit shorter than it should have been). Replay reversed to touchdown.
He has the ball in his left arm and touches the pylon with this right hand. The ball becomes dead at the point and the foremost point of the ball is the dead ball spot.
That spot is clearly behind the hand that touches the pylon. It's impossible for the ball to have broken the plane at that point.
The Referee's announcement is equally bizarre. The ball never came close to touching the pylon.
