'dots' — OpenAI's new proactive personal agent is HERE! I was part of Dev Early Access Community testing. To sum up my experience in a word: > 'Proactivity' An illustration from my testing: dot proactively picked up on an invoice I needed to send for my freelance writing, pulled the relevant details from the email thread and drafted the invoice. After I approved it, dot sent the invoice as a PDF. It was a great example of real-world, practical value. My plan is to continue testing by giving "Shaine" (what I call my dot) a set of ideal states I want to move into. Things like: - Creating my own business - Expanding my subscription base for Attention Heads - Helping me nurture the relationships with my family & friends And allow Shaine to work 24/7 to help me achieve the life I envision, while being a benevolent presence in the world.

GPT-6.1 Sol doesn’t top Opus or Sonnet 5.5 in intelligence according to @ArtificialAnlys. It is Pareto optimal on efficiency, however. Should be great as a subagent for Opus 5.5 in Claude Code with the Codex plugin. You can try that with ‘fable-advisor’. Link below. 👇

OPENAI 🔥: Key insights from upcoming DevDay sessions. * This agenda is not public yet First, OpenAI will build Platform capabilities inside Codex, enabling users to develop plugins, agents, and apps right from a dedicated DevDay page, which is quite cool! Highlights from the agenda 👀 > Claw Labs "Join Peter Steinberger for a look at how agents can change the way open-source teams build." > 🔥 Codex Game Studio "What makes a game easy for humans but hard for AI? Build one and put Codex to the test." > 🔥 What Will You Build With Coding Agents That Don’t Quit? What engineering work deserves your time and tokens? Learn from a Codex run that spent more than 1,000 hours keeping builds and tests passing in a large shared codebase. See how this internal OpenAI agent had goals, subagents, and persistent plans that helped it investigate failures and coordinate fixes. > Codex Has Left The Laptop "As we move from delegating individual tasks to letting Codex tackle entire problems and goals on its own, it’s possible to harness the power of Codex wherever and however you work. " > From Single Player to Multiplayer with Codex "Follow a 2am outage from the first Slack messages to a reviewed fix and an update for the team." > What Comes After Loops?: Deep Dive Into Agentic Architecture "As models become more capable, agent architectures are changing. We'll trace the evolution from simple loops to collaborating agents, examine the design choices and model advancements behind that shift, and take a deep dive into what comes next."

Total Claude victory.
OpenAI has cancelled the October release of GPT-6.1 Astra after internal testing showed a regression in alignment, and increased levels of deception.

OpenAI DevDay will alter the course of human civilization. I don't actually know... But it sure is fun to get hyped about AI.
Get ready.

Claude Sonnet 5.5 is HERE.
Introducing Claude Sonnet 5.5, the second model in the Claude 5.5 family. It’s a clear upgrade over Sonnet 5, runs more than 30% faster, and costs up to 30% less for most work.

OpenAI can't win, they will have to come back with some .1 models. Opus 5.5 is CRAZY efficient and I can't finish my limits. I can't wait for Fable 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5. I use Astra extra high for reviewing stuff though.
Sonnet 5.5 launch is imminent. Trying to get ahead of OpenAI DevDay, which will be a doozy. What will I actually use Sonnet 5.5 for? I guess if it's an Opus 5 —> Opus 5.5 sized leap, it will be great as a subagent in Claude Code. Orchestrated by Opus 5.5, of course.

I read Thariq's post on effort in Claude Code and wanted to see what it meant in practice, so I had Opus 5.5 build 3D Sonic at all five effort levels and played every one. Low: 9 minutes, barely tested its own game. Max: 2.5 hours, most of it spent testing and fixing. It was the most playable of the five. Full breakdown in the article below.

Today, with over 100 industry partners, we introduced the NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform, bringing together OpenShell and Sentry. Artificial intelligence is extraordinary technology that will advance discovery, productivity, security, health, and prosperity for generations to come. But its full promise can only be realized when people have confidence that AI is being built to be safe and deployed with wisdom and responsibility. This is bigger than a single product. It's the beginning of an open ecosystem to build the trust layer for safe agent systems. Together, we are building the foundation of the AI economy. Trust and innovation are not in conflict. Safety is how trust is earned. We must build not only the most capable AI, but the most trusted AI, so that this extraordinary technology can realize its enormous promise for the world. nvda.ws/4hcoq7m

Try ‘Dynamic Workflows’ in Claude Code with Opus 5.5. Opus 5.5 efficiency is otherworldly. It’s the most amazing multi-agent orchestration experience I’ve had yet.
