Telcos put on notice. The archaic (customer) service cannot be changed fast enough to compete with Starlink. People are already switching airlines for faster WiFi. They will leave telcos in droves for better, cheaper mobile services. Slowly, then all of a sudden uk.pcmag.com/wireless-carrie…

Instinct vs Grok Bot Instinct is better at managing end2end problems, including payments (credit card in a vault). Its tone seems optimised for human engagement. Oh, and it’s free! Grok Bot is (much) faster, understands context better, overall more powerful output. Its tone is more robotic and functional, but the answers are better than Instinct. I thought I liked Instinct but likely going back to Grok Bot, for now

Interesting history lesson, Mayor. You left out one rather awkward detail: Oswald Mosley was not some creature who appeared fully formed from the "political right". He had been a Labour MP, sat on Labour’s NEC and was a member of the Fabian Society before founding the British Union of Fascists. Even George Bernard Shaw, one of the great Fabian luminaries, was still publicly praising Mosley in 1932, after the BUF had been founded. Which does rather spoil the neat little morality tale in which fascism belonged exclusively to “the other side”. History is considerably more inconvenient than a mayoral tweet. We see you.
90 years ago today, Oswald Mosley and his Blackshirts attempted to march through and intimidate a predominantly Jewish area of the East End. Men, women and children, alongside local residents, trade unionists and anti-fascist protesters, came together to defend the community in what became known as the Battle of Cable Street. They taught us an important lesson: communities can resist fascism by joining together. Hate and antisemitism had no place in London then, and it has no place here now.

Early Instinct experience is not great. It has access to my Google Workspace but is not using it when prompted. Here, @bot does a better job

Discusting reporting by the @FT on the hijacking of the FlyDubai flight by terrorists. 10 seconds on X shows all the videos and pictures you need for proof but the FT calls it an 'incident'.

The UK government seems obsessed with Israel (calling for military action today) meanwhile the markets are losing trust in its capacity to pay back their debts. It is time to stop the theatre and become serious about the future prospect of the country with energy security, affordable housing, great education for all, and a booming AI industry to avoid total foreign dependence.
The UK's bond market is collapsing. Today, the yield on a 30Y Bond in the UK hit 5.95%, its highest level since March 1998. Yields in the UK are now 15 TIMES above 2020 levels, with the highest borrowing costs among G7 countries. What is happening? Let us explain. (a thread)
