Some of you have completely lost the plot.
It’s disgusting how some are using a person’s trauma and pain as an excuse to push their own hate agenda against completely unrelated people. A serious situation involving someone speaking up about traumatic experiences somehow turned into people going on literal witch hunts trying to find celebrities to drag for fanwars. This is not the “gotcha” moment you think it is.
Instead of focusing on the victim, amplifying their voice, and hoping they get justice, you shift the attention onto completely unnecessary discourse. Do you even realize how much courage and bravery it takes for someone to come forward about deeply painful experiences, especially publicly? Yet some of you seem far more interested in witch hunts and hate campaigns than treating the situation with the care and sensitivity it deserves.
All you’re doing is shifting attention away from the person at the center of it all and proving that your priority was never support or justice. Please have some morals. God. Not every serious situation needs to become your personal fanwar.
As someone who experienced SA at a young age, seeing people treat situations like this as entertainment or fandom discourse is genuinely triggering. I truly hope he gets justice, and I hope one day I find the courage to speak about my own experience too.
