Always said we (Notts County) have had a tough start… When we play Stags next Sat we’ll have played EIGHT of the current top 10 (inc 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 5th), & just ONE of the bottom 10 (Donny, 17th) Other three not in either are Burton (11), Leicester (13), Wycombe (14) #notts

Twitter, or ‘X’, has had a pretty awful few years when it comes to insane speculation without any facts whatsoever. But the RAF Fairford stuff has been an absolute fucking nadir 😂 No-one can tell me the planet wouldn’t be better place if it just disappeared for good.

As I was suggesting on Sat to some of the more extreme reactions at FT, we (Notts County) have had a pretty tough start to L1 life, facing 5 of the top 7 sides (in terms of XP) so far (inc four away) in our 7 games, and only 1 of the bottom 10 (Burton) who we beat #notts
📊📉📈 League tables lie. Here’s how the Premier League & EFL are looking in terms of the underlying data as we head into the international break 👀👇

A poor goal for us (Notts County) to concede; Longelo done too easy, then Nessy loses Marriott completely, despite grappling with him seconds before (missed that at the time). No shade on LN tho, been superb so far, + Marriott is probably the best striker in L1 #notts #readingfc
8️⃣ league goals so far for Jack Marriott… It’s still only September 🤯

It was entirely predictable, but I am still a little surprised at how quickly some Notts County fans are willing to throw in the towel after two games against promotion favourites 😂 You can tell we have won most games over the last 6/7 years! #notts

By far our (Notts County btw) toughest game of the season so far tomorrow at Huddersfield. They look genuine title contenders, probably have the best striker in L1 right now and just a squad full of quality in all positions. How do we line up, Notts fans? #htafc

Personally, I think I would make only a couple of changes, depending on fitness. Longelo for Lipsiuc (suggestion he came off injured on Tue) Roberts (seems to love these big games) for Grant... #notts

Notts County summer window: - Cal Roberts - James Gibbons - Max Sanders - Matthew Baker - Jack Evans - Emile Acquah - Dean Campbell - Darius Lipsiuc - Ollie Cooper - Hindolo Mustapha - Ishe Samuels-Smith - Luka Smyth - Rory Finneran - Daniel Kanu Score out of 10? #Notts

Just reposting this, for no reason at all 😂 #nottscounty #notts
People go on like our (Notts County) owners are fuckin daft & know bugger all about football or something, like they don't own a data company and haven't literally been promoted twice in 7 years despite starting in NL with a handful of players What's that all about then? #notts

Remember this, what makes the crowd figure even more remarkable is this was an absolute must-win game to take it to the last day of the season (which we lost 3-1 at Gillingham so went down). Crazy how far the club has come in 10 years #nottscounty #notts
Also worth noting, Saturday was a first win for Notts at L1 level since April 2015. Fewer than 6k to see a 2-1 victory over Doncaster:

To add the below re Rory Finneran's debut for Notts County, just watched back and didn't realise at the time it was him who played the brilliant dinked through ball for Mustapha's big chance at 0-1 that Addai saved well from (0.45 on the link) #notts m.youtube.com/watch?v=mQOCBu…
Rory Finneran's heat map today, and defensive stats. 6/7 ground duels won.6 recoveries. 9 passes into the final third. Very encouraging debut 👏

Spot on from MP. A few Notts County fans thought we'd roll Burton over. They showed in the first half what a decent, organised side they are, and if Luka's header goes over on 78 there's a good chance they walk away with a 0-1 and folk say what a good job they did on us #notts
Let's hear from the victorious gaffer 👏 🎥 nottscountyfc.link/burtonmp

Was thinking at 0-1 today (Notts County btw) how it would have been a perfect time for a fit Jodi to come on. What on earth happens if he's still here on Weds, as seems increasingly likely? He's still our player. On a good wage. Has to be a way to reintegrate him, surely? #notts

If Robbo really is out for a bit (along with Campbell and Sanders), then Grady McDonnell sounds a more than capable replacement, especially at such short notice #nottscounty #notts

Understand Notts County are in talks to sign Salford left-back Rosaire Longelo. #notts #nottscounty #salford #ammies

Could be wrong but sounds like Mellon may be dragging out any deal while Oldham try to decide cos he wants to join his dad in L2 rather than join Notts County or Plymouth... IF true then time to move on, only want players who 100% want to play for the club #notts

My Notts County starting XI today. Not expecting a result really as Burnley will likely go strong, but let's give it a go: Belly, Nick, Bedeau, Baker, Ness, Gibbons, Robbo, Evans, Cooper, Roberts, Smyth. Will be watching by the pool in Spain. COYP! #notts

A staggering £3m bid for a NL player that a lot of our (Notts County) fans were saying we should be in for shows what many have been saying this summer - the transfer market has gone mad, hyper inflated. Would smash the previous NL record which I think is still £1m for Vardy?

I would rather have kept him. Do think he’s a decent player but not irreplaceable. But £200k, if that’s correct, feels a fair price. Especially for a player we brought in on a free who was there when we had our worst season in decades. Good move for all parties I think
Notts County have triggered the £200,000 release clause for Northampton Town midfielder Dean Campbell. Campbell is having his medical and set to sign a three-year deal. Campbell opted for Notts County ahead of other interest in EFL and Scotland. #Notts #ntfc
