What a fantastic day in Brown County! I had an absolute blast marching in the parade alongside my parents, State Representatives Adam Bird and Justin Pizzulli, and an incredible group of dedicated supporters and volunteers.
Events like this are a great reminder of what makes our region so special—it's all about faith, family, and strong community.
I want to extend a huge thank you to the amazing Brown County community and every single volunteer who worked behind the scenes to make both the parade and the county fair possible. Organizing an event of this size takes endless hard work and dedication, and our volunteers truly knocked it out of the park.

Charity and I were proud to join the Jackson Apple Festival parade and celebrate one of Southern Ohio’s great traditions with the people of OH02!
It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, visit with friends and neighbors, and enjoy the incredible community spirit that made the 85th annual Jackson Apple Festival so special.
We were also glad to be joined by Vivek Ramaswamy as we celebrated in Jackson County with Team Taylor and the people who make this community such a great place to call home.

It was a great day to be at the Hocking County fair celebrating the hard work, and traditions that make our agricultural communities so special.
Charity and I were glad to spend time with local families, 4-H and FFA members. These young people work incredibly hard preparing their projects and livestock, and their commitment to agriculture and our communities is something to be proud of.
County fairs are more than rides and great food—they are where generations come together, where lifelong lessons are learned, and where we celebrate the people who keep Ohio’s agricultural heritage strong.

Thank God everyone is safe! Praying for you and your team’s continued safety!
While returning home from the La Crosse County Lincoln Day Dinner tonight, the plane I was traveling in lost power as we approached the Wausau Downtown Airport. The pilot made an emergency water landing in Lake Wausau.
After landing, we called 911. As the plane began to submerge, we exited the aircraft and swam to a shallow area, where we waited until emergency responders reached us by boat.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to the pilot, the Wausau Fire Department, and all of the first responders who came to our aid so quickly. They got us safely off the water and transported us to Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where we received excellent care. Thankfully, both the pilot and I sustained only minor injuries.
God was watching over us tonight, and I am incredibly grateful to be here in the hospital with my wife, Chris, by my side. An experience like this reminds you just how precious life is.

It was great being in Jacksonville for the annual Old Settler’s Reunion! 🎡
Charity and I went over to Athens County to spend time with so many wonderful folks from across the county and throughout the district.
A special thank you to Mayor Sam Smathers and President Butch Chapman for showing Charity and I around! We had the privilege of touring the Jacksonville Volunteer Fire Department to chat with some of our dedicated first responders! We also stopped by the Old Settler’s Senior Citizens Center to visit with some amazing residents.
