NEW GTA 6 Information courtesy of Game Informer: - GTA VI features a significantly upgraded dynamic wind system. - Includes offshore breezes after sunset, convectional updrafts, and wind occlusion from buildings. - Wind can make hair and debris swirl on rooftops, create ripples across water, and bend swamp grass. - Tropical storms and hurricanes are confirmed for Leonida. - Major storms feature heavy clouds, powerful winds, dense atmosphere, torrential rain, dripping environments, water pouring from rooftops and lampposts, thunder, and lightning illuminating the clouds. - 170+ animal species across GTA VI’s map, including Leonida-native wildlife never seen before in a Rockstar game. - 60+ bird species and 30+ land mammals, alongside numerous fish and reptiles. - Confirmed wildlife includes manatees, flamingos, pelicans, and alligators. - NPCs have an unprecedented level of physical variety and detail. - Citizens can have different heights and body types. - Bodies vary in musculature and localized weight distribution, including the chest/bust, stomach, and butt. - Different skin types are represented with details such as freckles, moles, and tanning. - Rockstar put extensive work into culturally accurate tattoo styles matching Leonida’s different communities and regions. - Hair and body grooming are far more detailed, with significantly more ethnic styles represented. - Leonida is the biggest map Rockstar has ever created, and by a significant margin. - The map is roughly twice the size of GTA V’s world. It is also considerably denser, more detailed, and more interactive than GTA V. - Rockstar says it obsessed over every part of the world, including rooftops, alleys, building interiors, and the spaces between them. - GTA VI features a huge number of interiors, reaching a point where buildings are designed to feel real both inside and outside. - The world is designed as one cohesive environment, rather than separate areas that feel disconnected. - Rockstar says the map combines a high density of content with handcrafted detail throughout the entire world.
