Hi @david_conn I am a PhD Researcher and my PhD looks into football club ownership regulation & how it aligns with the fan perception of ownership. I'm asking football fans of all types what they think makes a good football owner through the survey link below app.onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk… Hugely appreciate if you could share with your network please?

We have always said we will not know the whole truth about Hillsborough until we know the truth about Orgreave. Same police force. Same tactics. Five years earlier. We are grateful to the Government for delivering on its manifesto promise. 🙏🏻 theguardian.com/politics/202…

We welcome the government listening to the campaign, families, MPs and supporters by withdrawing their security services amendment. We shall engage further with government to ensure the bill fully applies to the security services whilst not jeopardising national security.

‘The form of the Orgreave inquiry is modelled on the Hillsborough independent panel, whose 2012 report is recognised as a landmark, establishing crucial details about the disaster and overturning the false South Yorkshire police narrative that was intended to avoid responsibility and blame the victims.’

Phil Hammond, extraordinary fighter for truth and justice after the Hillsborough disaster, has died. Phil and his wife Hilda’s son Philip, 14, was one of the 97 people unlawfully killed. Phil chaired the Hillsborough Family Support Group for many years. A wonderful man, RIP.

Must-read on Britain's / Labour's stance on reparations, by @aamnamohdin: 'Many experts felt it showed deep ignorance ... It displays a gap in race and equality policymaking in No 10, which confirmed that Starmer does not have a specific race adviser.' theguardian.com/world/2024/o…

The judges say: "Some of the public comment has called into question whether Letby ought to have been convicted in August 2023." They make clear today's appeal couldn't consider those questions, and envisage that they may at some point be looked at by a court. 2/3
