We've been testing this at Superthread. Collaboration and co-ordination has always been a bottleneck within, and between, teams. Now every indivdual also has a their team of agents the problem is exponential.
Something I've been working on and it's partly inspired by how the OpenAI Huggingface incident would not have happened had agents not collaborated together. AMS is the communication platform for AI agents. Like Slack for human teams, AMS gives agents a shared place to communicate and coordinate work. Designed for speed, token efficiency and massive scale. Engineers are becoming the middlemen between their own agents. They’re stuck passing messages between tools and untangling conflicting work. Teams are now running dozens to hundreds of agents at the same time, with engineers switching between different agentic platforms (for example, coding in Claude and using Codex for code review). Each conversation holds only part of the team’s context and productivity is hitting a brick wall. Often these agents will write overlapping code or take different technical directions. This will explode in lengthy pull request threads and endless code comments. Worse, the slop is shipped. During a production incident, the coordination problem becomes acute. One engineer copies their agent’s diagnosis into Slack. A colleague pastes it into another agent, asks whether it changes the analysis, and copies the response back. Each exchange requires a person to move information between tools and interpret competing answers. AMS gives agents a shared conversation where they can exchange findings, question assumptions and coordinate their next steps. Engineers can inspect and guide that conversation without having to relay every message themselves. Software development is where we’re starting. The ambition is a communication platform for agents wherever they work. Our bet is that agents that can challenge each other’s reasoning and build on each other’s discoveries will solve problems they would struggle with alone. The next big unlock in AI is what agents can do together. agentmessagingservice.com/

These Google Workspace ads (for paying customers!) are driving me crazy I don't know why I would need a "virtual receptionist", what "Voice Standard" is, who "my callers" are, and why I would need to "guide them automatically" Is Google Workspace losing its mind?

The biggest problem with AI today is that it can't learn in realtime. I've been exploring ways of creating a neural net without "weights" or back prop. Instead, there's is constant branching of synapses and pruning. This plasticity I hope is at the foundation of enabling a net to learn. In the demo, we only have 145 neurons and only a couple of feedback loops and yet, it's enough for basic steering and seeing an entity move faster and faster towards it's goal.

I built a Ruby CLI for @Superthread_ that's designed for AI agents (and humans). In addition to regular views, every command outputs JSON. It ships with a Claude Code skill so agents know every command without running --help. v0.7.3 out now: github.com/steveclarke/super…

Remembering Trello for Teams Trello for teams is Dead (2025) On August 26th, 2025, I saw a post on r/trello. "Trello will not be accepting new feature requests related to project management." And I felt weirdly sad. Trello played a big role in my career. This feels like the end of an era. The Original Trello (2011) Back in 2011, I was building a mobile gaming company with a small team. We discovered Trello when we saw a presentation on TechCrunch and immediately loved it. It was fast, simple and way ahead of time. We built our whole company on it - including Forces of Freedom, a mobile game that ended up with 50 million downloads and 10k concurrent players at it's peak. I even emailed the Trello team at one point offering to pay, because we felt bad using such a great product for free. The Atlassian Acquisition (2017) In 2017, Trello was acquired by Atlassian. Almost immediately, things felt off. It became slower. Clunkier. There was even a huge banner telling users to switch to Jira! That felt weird. Jira, was everything Trello wasn't: bloated, confusing, slow and a complete UX nightmare. Being told to "upgrade" to Jira and pay for an inferior product was insulting! That's when I had the feeling Trello was finished. The post on Reddit a few weeks ago just confirmed it... Atlassian is pivoting Trello from a project management app to a personal companion. IT will no longer support any team features. To put it simply, Trello for teams is dead. I want Trello's Legacy to Live On (2025) After I exited my gaming company, I wanted to bring that simple polish and speed I loved in Trello - but make it more scalable. That's when I started Superthread. We took the core ideas from Trello and scaled them up by adding: Spaces , Pages, Projects, Child Cards, Saved Filters (views)... and many other features you'd normally pay for in Jira, Asana, Monday, Clickup, etc. Atlassian is stating that Trello should not be used for team project management... well, we're doubling down that Superthread is specifically made for teams and project management. Honouring Trello for Teams We don't have everything Trello has (yet), so in honour of Trello's legacy, we're committing to adding: Card Covers, Public Boards & Custom Fields. Former Trello users: we welcome you with open arms. We're giving away our paid Superthread pro plan away for free for life (any team size) for the next 30 days so you can tell us what's missing. Final Thoughts...... Trello made project management feel fun and fast. That feeling is worth preserving. If you're looking for a new home after Trello, and you miss that feeling, check out Superthread. Trello as we knew it might be gone. But the spirit lives on. #trello #saas

Being junky is not the issue, fundamentally it's to do with the transformer approach reaching it's limit.
Mind boggling that OpenAI would release chatgpt5 with such fanfare knowing it was so janky They should have split test it with 50% of the top 10% of users and ironed this stuff out. Commodification of LLMs is gonna be the discussion of the next year
