“the ick” is just the name women give to their social role as enforcers of hegemonic masculinity.
I will never understand women who “get the ick”. They’ll say that it’s some evolutionary defense mechanism, but 99% of the time it’s completely illogical and just normal human behavior they’re being repulsed by. My theory is that the ick is part of feminist psychosis.
