I’ve been in the hospital for 10 days now 🤦🏻

Managed to get out of bed this morning and walk a lap around the floor. First step on the road to recovery 💪🏼

Surgery successful but in a ridiculous amount of pain. The meds do nothing 😫

Things took a turn for the worse today and I’ve decided to have surgery tomorrow to remove the bad intestines. Going to be a rough patch ahead but I’ll be better for it in the long run. Thanks for all the positive juju! 🙏🥰

Feeling much better but they are still keeping me in the hospital until Friday. I have a blood infection and need 7 days of IV antibiotics. Had my first real food this morning since Thursday (cream of wheat and little ice cream) and it was divine. Thanks for all the positive energy! 🫶🏻

NG tube is finally out 🥳🎉

The good news is I am feeling a lot better. Lots of antibiotics doing their thing. The intestinal blockage is starting to clear. The bad news is the area that got blocked will clog up again due to scar tissue. It needs to come out so I have surgery in my future. For now I’m trying to get healthy enough to go home and then schedule a procedure at a specialty clinic sometime after I’m off the antibiotics.

Was just told that if I hadn’t come to the hospital when I did, there’s a good chance I would have been dead. I was very close to septic shock and organs shutting down. Thanks to Jessie for insisting I go and getting me here.

Finished my second night in the ICU. Impossible to sleep for more than 30 minutes at a time. Feel like a zombie.

Spent the night in the ICU. Random virus caused my intestines to inflame causing a blockage. Blood pressure was 85/50 so they put me in intensive care. They gave me meds for it and it’s back to normal. Scary night though.

The first time I attempted to render a scene in four seasons back in 2005. I used World Builder for this.

Ultrawide version of “Autumnwood” on the G9. I used to create wallpapers first at 16:9 and then expand the frame for ultrawide and multiscreen ratios. Now I create them first in ultrawide and scale down for 16:9.

Happy Fall Equinox! Added a new Autumn render to my gallery this morning, "Autumnwood", and I'm going to attempt rendering this one in all four seasons. I tried a similar series using World Builder back in '05 and thought it would fun to try it using Blender.

I don’t collect movies on disc like I used to but I had to make an exception for this one…

The only problem I had with tonight's episode of "Lanterns" is that they find Hal Jordan on the bleachers in the snow, but then for the rest of the episode it seems to be summertime 🤔
