🌿 Celebrating the 11th Ayurveda Day – “Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow” 🌿
The Consulate, together with the Ministry of Ayush, AAAP, NAMA, TAPAS, ISKCON Houston, and other diaspora organizations marked the 11th Ayurveda Day with a vibrant community celebration on 19 September 2026.
The program featured two focused panel discussions. The first panel, “Ayurveda for Community Wellbeing & Sustainable Living,” moderated by Mr. Sonal Gupta, brought together Vd. Sushma Jakkula, Vd. Anand Yadav, Vd. Dhanada Kulkarni, and Vd. Anu PK, who shared insights on lifestyle harmony, preventive care, and sustainable living through Ayurveda.
The second panel, “Integrating Ayurveda into Modern Healthcare for Better Health Outcomes,” moderated by Vd. Deepa Bhat, featured Dr. Rajashree Nambron, Dr. Suparna Chhiber, Vd. Meenakshi Gupta, and Vd. Sonal Gupta, highlighting collaborative approaches between Ayurveda and modern medicine.
An engaging interactive session led by Vd. Rajesh and Vd. Goral encouraged audience participation through an Ayurveda quiz and Q&A. Community members also benefited from personalized consultations and Prakriti analysis offered by leading practitioners including Vd. Anand Yadav, Dr. Sonal Gupta, Vd. Lakshmi Maliakkal, Vd. Meenakshi Gupta, Vd. Anu PK, Dr. Usha Devi, Vd. Dhanada Kulkarni, and Vd. Deepa Bhat.
A special address by Hanumat Presaka Swami added a profound spiritual dimension, connecting Ayurveda’s principles with holistic wellbeing.
In his remarks, the Consul General reaffirmed the Consulate’s commitment to promoting and propagating Ayurveda, Yoga, and India’s universal knowledge systems across the United States, and thanked all partner organizations, experts, and volunteers for their enthusiastic participation
