Imagine for 1 second that you have it wrong and Jews are telling the truth. That the genocide libel is bs. That Hamas are terrorists. That you are being manipulated to desire the removal of Jews from society.
Do you understand if we’re right, that makes you the millions of European and African and Asian friends and neighbors who wiped millions of us off 3 continents just a few decades ago?
What’s more likely - that we, the tiny minority who have been libeled and blamed and persecuted by every society in which we’ve ever lived for centuries, are the bad guys? Or that you, the non-Jewish masses who have hounded and defamed and slaughtered us all over the world over and over and over again, have once again been suckered in by propaganda you unquestioningly latch onto because it gives you a scapegoat to blame for your own problems and sins?
“History repeats itself… except this time! I’m different!” Is essentially what every Jew hater tells themselves. No. You are no different than the Iraqi or Soviet or German or Algerian who turned on their Jewish neighbors the second they got the societal green light. Never in the history of the world has the group persecuting Jews been “on the right side of history.” Not once.
Courage isn’t going with the crowd to hate on us some more. That’s easy. Courage is looking in the mirror, in a history book, at what is happening to Jews in our society, and saying stop this train, I’m getting off.

Higher ed has been contracting for a decade. Depending on how you count, around 100 or more four-year institutions have closed in that time. The closures and mergers are likely to accelerate in the next ten years. A range of 2-300 more seems very possible.

People are under-pricing the possibility of a black-swan-esque event where significant chunks of higher ed collapse suddenly. At some point parents will decide they will not pay $100-400k combined for their kids to cheat their way through college. I expect a bang, not a whimper.
