Hester Bais trok afgelopen week op sociale media aan de noodrem en toonde keiharde bewijzen. Maanden geleden, begin juni, stelde zij indringende en uiterst gedetailleerde vragen aan de Rekenkamer over het jarenlange misbruik van AWBZ-zorggelden (in 2010 alleen al een post van maar liefst 70 miljard euro) én het plotseling opgeheven AOW Spaarfonds, goed voor nog eens 40 miljard euro. De afdeling voorlichting van de Rekenkamer beloofde destijds plechtig dat er "op korte termijn" een inhoudelijke reactie zou komen. Inmiddels zijn we maanden verder. En wat heeft Bais ontvangen? Helemaal niets. Nul komma nul.
