My definition of being eligible for luxury is simple:
If you’re a major shareholder in a company subject to CSR obligations, you’ve earned the right to a luxury lifestyle.
Otherwise, stick to value spending (a.k.a. Mediocrity) - not vanity spending.
Leaving big corporates aside, if you see an MSME guy driving a BMW or Audi in Kongu Belt, chances are his cheques are bouncing somewhere. 😄
Real wealthy guys - often drive a Toyota, Hyundai, Tata or VW. And even when they upgrade, it’s mostly a Volvo.
