How does someone become an anti-vaxxer or come to believe that chemotherapy is more dangerous than cancer? I’ve spent all year working with Alexander Stockton and The NY Times trying to answer that question. Here’s our findings. nytimes.com/2025/09/09/opini…

I'm going to try to give this fair marks. There are some really good messages here because some people can be sucked deeply down the rabbit hole, too often with unnecessary consequences. My key message is to try to find balance. Health Care is a mess. It has become Sick Care. Doctors don't have ample time with patients to properly deal with health conditions and all too often reach for the Rx pad to deal with symptoms. That's not a conspiracy theory, it's the state of the system. In that environment, it makes perfect sense that people don't want to live their lives in a Sick Care system and it makes perfect sense that they seek better choices. This video doesn't do a very good job of covering this aspect of health care. Instead it takes some tidbits of truth, combines it with a few terrible stories, and then paints a mural seeking to degrade the entire MAHA movement. Make no mistake, some of the claims against some of the influencers are valid and need to be better dealt with; however the same claims can be made against aspects of the pharmaceutical and medical industry. The answers to Making America Healthy Again will not come from driving a wedge between Conventional Medicine and Alternative Medicine. It will not come by creating Heroes and Villains. It will not happen if we remain so widely divided. Integrative Medicine (IM) combines these approaches to offer better options for patients and most IM practitioners have ample time to work with their patients to help them retain or regain health, using pharmaceutical interventions when necessary to deal with symptoms, while also seeking to improve patient health. Rather than driving the wedge deeper, the best approach would be to drop the divisive weaponry, find common ground, and reform the healthcare system into a system that focuses on health AND care. Overall, I'd give this video about a C. In today's polarized environment, that's not too bad.

Sitting here with a bald head from a 2nd go around with chemo, the craven, uneducated, people pushing useless supplements infuriate me. Many cancers aren't curable. Many are. Until they find a cure for mine, I'll stick with modern medicine. Celery juice? C'mon man.

The wellness-to-anti-vax pipeline is real and measurable. We fact-checked the ‘turbo cancer’ claim from mRNA vaccines — zero evidence supports it, but it keeps spreading through exactly this pathway: lenz.io/c/covid19-vaccines-s…

For the anti-vaxxer: read the Simpsonwood documents. Did it for me
