A joint statement from Texas Cattle Feeders Association, Kansas Livestock Association and Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association regarding the ongoing ICE operations in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas:
“The Kansas Livestock Association, Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association and Texas Cattle Feeders Association are closely monitoring reported U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity affecting agricultural communities in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas.
Our organizations respect the responsibility of federal agencies to enforce the law. At the same time, cattle producers, feedyards, dairies, livestock markets, processors, and other rural businesses depend on a stable workforce to care for animals, protect food safety, and keep the supply chains operating. Sudden workforce disruptions can create immediate animal-welfare, operational, and economic consequences that extend well beyond an individual business. These ICE operations are having a massive chilling effect on the legal, documented, skilled workers that put beef on the table and keep the cattle supply chain moving. Additionally, these types of disruptions will lead to higher beef prices for consumers.
Reported impacts to our organizations throughout the past few days have been:
- Thousands of fed cattle slated for shipping to processors now delayed, resulting in millions of dollars in lost revenue and additional costs.
- Workforce disruptions at numerous supply chain chokepoints such as feedyards, dairies, processors, feed and grain companies, transportation hubs, and community services.
These disruptions come at a time of enhanced focus and pressure on the cattle and beef supply chain. They are a costly and unnecessary impact to cattle producers already suffering from unwelcome political interference to both the markets as well as the physical supply chain. Frustratingly, the harm these actions cause to cattle producers last for days and weeks after such operations conclude.
We urge federal officials to conduct enforcement actions in a lawful, orderly, and transparent manner; respect due process; and communicate clearly with affected employers and communities.”

For the first time ever I am voting Democrat for the opponent of @bofrench
When I first came to the US in 1991 legally of course the Clinton / Bush campaign was in full swing and it didn’t take me 15 minutes of watching Clinton to know that this guy is a lying liberal and like so many politicians from the country I had escaped - India.
Long before I could vote I became aligned with the GOP and became a daily listener to Rush and read well over 100 books on American history / economics so by the time I became a citizen in 2000 I was a fully politically aware conservative.
For 14 years I voted straight ticket GOP and it wasn’t until 2016 that I actually left a blank spot on the ballot ( never voted for Trump).
I have always opposed democrats and the democrat party at a deep philosophical level and never considered voting for them or suggested anyone does.
I have debated leftists in person and online for decades. I engaged in the tea party movement and knocked on thousands of doors and made phone calls for Republican candidates from 2000 to 2022. Donated thousands to the RNC and individual candidates in the past. My conservative bona fides have been well established over decades.
Until 2026 that is.
No my core beliefs did not change and after i became a christian in 2021 I am even more conservative.
I will vote for the democrat opponent of @bofrench for Texas railroad commissioner.
Bo is a stone cold bigot / racist and stands for an evil world view which has no place in the GOP.

Deport every illegal
Deport everyone in America on a fraudulently obtained visa.
Clamp down on the misuse of the F1 / H1 B / L1 / Opt visa and greatly shrink the numbers. Go after any employers misusing them.
Even do an immigration moratorium for a few years so the existing immigrants can assimilate.
However racist bigots like Bo want to take it much further just like these pathetic so called heritage Americans.
They want every black and brown human ( even US citizens) deported. He has said this many times and he even wants native Americans deported ( to where I don’t know).
He would want my kids who are born and raised in America and as American as any child of any skin color born here to be deported for the crime of being brown.
This is not being an immigration hawk. This is stone cold bigotry and the modern version of the KKK. People like him should have no place in the GOP or any political party really.
I am actually doing the GOP a favor by help defeat him so at least he represents a line too far in a party that has no standards left really and is being taken over by groypers day by day.
The Democrat if he wins can’t really change much and Texas will remain an oil and gas super power and the person in this office can’t really impact social issues or my taxes.
In fact the Democrat Joe Rosenthal is an actual oil and gas engineer for 25 years unlike the totally vapid Bo French.
So yes for the first time ever I am voting Democrat for this one statewide office in Texas in the general election.

You guys will not believe the big changes at my dentist office.
Today I go in and get in the chair and the dental assistant leans it back. What do I see? Modern Family is playing on the ceiling tv. I asked “hey where’s the Gilmore Girls?”
And she answered, “yes I know …. But Netflix stopped streaming the Gilmore Girls. So we switched to Modern Family. I wish it hadn’t changed.”
So she started cleaning my teeth and I’m watching the ceiling tv. At length, she rinses out my mouth out and I say, “You know, this is an inadequate substitution.”
Then the dentist came in and he peered in my mouth. After poking around he advised me that I could use a mouth guard at night… and I sit there and I say “ok ok. I’ll do that. But will you promise me when my insurance plan pays that you guys will get a subscription to Paramount + because you really need to go back to showing the Gilmore Girls on the ceiling tv 📺 “
