Girlfriend: Babe, where are you? Boyfriend: I am driving. Girlfriend: Check your side mirror, we are on the same lane. And just like that... absolute silence before the scream! Knowing fully well what "on the same lane" means when you're supposed to be in two totally different parts of town... my soul would have left my body right then and there!

People are seriously underestimating what the Green Lantern charger can do. It’s not just a weapon,it turns willpower and imagination into REAL power. Give that kind of ability to someone with enough willpower and creativity, and you’re basically giving them a cheat code.
The guardians could've simply given John Stewart this particular ring after he passed the test. Hal and Guy didn't have to fight anyone to get theirs. I don't understand why they wanted John to take it forcefully from Hal Jordan.

Cathy Ames might be the most honest character in East of Eden. Everyone wants to call her evil. But what if that’s exactly the comfortable answer the story gives us so we don’t have to confront something uglier? Cathy doesn’t pretend to be good. She manipulates, deceives, and destroys people but the men around her constantly project their fantasies onto her. They want to save her. Possess her. Understand her. And when she refuses to become the woman they imagined, they call her a monster. Meanwhile, Adam’s “goodness” can sometimes look suspiciously like naivety, and Charles’ anger is treated as complicated rather than simply evil. That’s what makes East of Eden so unsettling: maybe the real battle isn’t between good people and bad people. Maybe it’s between the versions of ourselves we desperately want others to believe. And Cathy? She may be the one character who refuses to play along. Is Cathy actually evil or is she simply the character we’re most uncomfortable understanding?

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce… they really know how to keep their relationship interesting. ❤️ From stadiums to date nights, the two always seem to find a way to make ordinary moments look special. And this birthday celebration in New York was another one of those moments. 🥹

I invited my friend over for a meeting, but after a few minutes, I noticed he kept looking at my wife butt. Every time I looked at him, his eyes were on my wife's body. At first, I ignored it. Then I tapped his leg. Me: “Bro, you here?” Friend: “Yeah, I'm here.” Me: “You sure?” Friend: “Of course. Why?” Me: “Nothing.” A few minutes later, I caught him doing it again. Me: “Bro…” He looked at me. Friend: “What?” Me: “Are you good?” Friend: “I'm fine.” I looked at my wife. She was pretending not to notice. But I could tell she was uncomfortable too. After another few minutes, I couldn't take it anymore. Me: “Bro, come with me. I need to talk to you.”

My girlfriend started charging me $50 every time I slept with her. The first time, I thought she was joking. We had been dating for almost 6 months, and she had recently started writing something in a small notebook whenever I stayed at her place. One night, after we had been intimate, she reached for the notebook. I laughed. “What are you writing?” She looked at me and said, “$50.” I thought she was playing around. “For what?” “For tonight.” I laughed again. “Are you seriously charging me for sleeping with my own girlfriend?” She smiled. “Pay me.” I refused. She didn't argue. She simply wrote something underneath the $50. Unpaid. The next morning, I forgot about it. Until it happened again. Another night together. Another $50. Then another. After about three weeks, I noticed the notebook sitting beside her bed. I picked it up. There were dates. Amounts. And little notes beside some of them. $50 — unpaid. $50 — unpaid. $50 — unpaid. I counted them. There were eleven entries. $550. I confronted her. “What exactly are you doing?” She closed the notebook.

Before Gotham called him Batman Bruce Wayne was just a boy who lost everything in one terrible night He could have spent the rest of his life hiding behind wealth anger or revenge Instead he disappeared He trained his body until pain became familiar He studied criminals until he understood how they thought He learned to use fear not as a weapon to destroy people, but as a warning to those who preyed on the helpless Then he returned to Gotham Not as a billionaire Not as a savior As a shadow Every night he walks into places where ordinary people run away from He gets beaten outnumbered and pushed to his limits but he keeps getting back up Because Batman isn't really the story of a man who became fearless It's the story of a man who decided his fear would never control him again 🦇

Do male and female soldiers actually shower together? I got asked that question constantly after I came home from Iraq. I was a woman in the Army, deployed for 12 months in 2005–2006, so I always gave the same answer. No. But there was one situation at Fort Hood that made me understand why people even ask. Basic training was coed, so men and women trained together. That doesn’t mean we shared everything. During our field exercises, nobody was showering. Men didn’t have showers. Women didn’t have showers. Nobody had showers. You got field wipes. Fragrance-free baby wipes, basically. That was your shower. I remember one new soldier asking where we were supposed to wash. Someone looked at her and said, You’re holding it.
