good evening cyberspace traveler
my name is Daniel, I write and produce noisy folk / alt music + I make video essays on youtube about music & horror
welcome in, check out my work
reading up on the texas chainsaw massacre and burst into laughter learning that tobe hooper was hoping it would get a PG rating because there's not that much visible gore or blood. lmao
You Can See everything is like a brainworm, I cannot get it out of my mind.
There's something really REALLY vindicating about seeing the thought process of a lot of the silicon valley tech people be put forward within the context of fake it till you make it
At Phoebe Bridger's show in ATL the groups of people to the right, left, behind, and directly in front of me all loudly heckled Alex G nearly his entire set
Also funny was how he acted as though every other song was "his last one" lol
Phoebe was incredible, so was Alex
One of the more insufferable and disrespectful concert crowds I've seen though, left a really bad taste in my mouth. Do y'all not realize she likes his music? His set was cool, he played a deep cut off Race, so much animosity towards the band for no reason
Shout out the one girl kinda near me who was singing along to every song and shouted "we love you alex", you're a real one lol
Also shout out the multiple Legion members I ran into at the show:)
Remember when you ran away and I got on my knees and begged you not to leave because I'd go berserk? Well, you left me anyhow, and then the days got worse and worse, and now you see I've gone completely out of my mind.
Making posts on Twitter feels like spouting nonsense into the dark icy voids of cyberspace, for them to be devoured by eldritch beings forgotten by humankind.
RE: The state of Antlers
Luka and I have been hard at work for the last 6 months recording and mixing but we're still awhile away from the final masters
It's coming this year, just might not be in the next few weeks like I had intended
Being surrounded by collaborators whose work I trust changes everything, the wait will be worth it:) Snake Oil was borderline an interlude hahaha, you will not know what hit you.
