why should a music producer have to learn how to play an instrument to validate their argument against gen ai when really no acoustic instrument could create any of the sounds we make in the daw albeit without the help of any digital processing
Interesting so many music producers are anti AI.
I guess I just have to ask why most of them haven’t learned how to play a real instrument and instead chose to create their work on a computer.
It’s always okay to automate up until the point ‘you’ personally are uncomfortable with it. Then suddenly you are committing a crime against art.

one time when i was like 9 i was visiting my uncle in the states and i told him i was having a headache so he was like "have you drank water" and i was like "no ill have more dr pepper instead" and thats when i learned thats not how it works
