Great advice, and the Truth.
Recruiting is a lot like dating.
If you’re talking to multiple schools, you probably wouldn’t announce every conversation, every date, or every person who showed interest. You’d quietly build relationships and see where things lead.
Offers are similar.
Work quietly. Build relationships. Trust God’s timing. Not every opportunity is meant to become your future home.
The time to make a big announcement is when you’ve found “the one” and you’re committed.
Posting every offer rarely creates leverage, and sometimes it can actually turn coaches away. Focus on finding the right fit, not collecting logos.
You can make plans, send emails, attend camps, and build relationships—but ultimately, God is the One directing your path.
“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” — Proverbs 16:9 ✝️🥎
