Context and gravity is different but I have been on the end of it myself and it's really unpleasant. I am not asking anyone to light any candles for me, but some of the things people felt comfortable to say to and about me when on the end of a pile-on really affected me and continue to do so. Yup. Beth in particular, making a pretty harmless and incidental tweet about a former PM when she was a teenager was seen as justification to throw all sorts of labels at her. Totally uncalled for and disproportionate.
