I've been away for a couple of days & have come back to a box of these. Oh, the thrill - it never gets stale; the lovely heft and smell of a new book, all those zillions of hours of staring at words & suddenly they have a physical form, with added gold bits. Did a bit of a dance.

These should be described as 'pay restoration'
Why? Because successive Conservative governments have cut pay to the public sector. So while this may be an increase in pay, it's actually coming closer to restoring pay in real terms to what it was in 2010
