Also recent, at the start of 2026 I updated the way my wallpaper collections are applied on macOS Tahoe. Adding wallpapers to the System Settings pane no longer works via scripting (😞), so I made a lightweight app and helper to apply them (🤓). Bit over-engineery, but fun.

Yes, we moved it a bit in Sleeve 2 - if you flip the toggle for "Float on top" under "On track change" under the Position tab, that should do it! Let me know if that helps!

The second set is called 'Collections', and is based on the stock wallpapers that ship with the iPhone 14 Pro. For desktop, you can install directly and apply them from System Preferences, and for mobile and tablet there are bundled Apple Shortcuts 📲

Yeah it’ll stay under all your windows! It should also remember the last position per display device, and if you run it ‘pinned’ it will always update position itself no matter which screen you’re using.
