If you don’t understand what this means:
@Payward is
@krakenfx’s parent company. It has announced plans to offer KYC'd USA clients perps built on
@HyperliquidX
- Kraken was valued at $20bn in a 2025 funding deal and has already filed confidentially for an IPO. A fully centralized exchange of that size choosing Hyperliquid to power its markets is a pretty big deal.
- HIP-3 lets other businesses launch their own perp markets using Hyperliquid’s trading infrastructure. They choose the assets and market rules, while HL provides the technology that matches buyers and sellers.
- Payward plans to use a permissioned version, called HIP-3*, where only approved accounts (KYC'd accounts) can trade those markets. In this setup, NinjaTrader Clearing would handle customer accounts. Bitnomial would operate the markets and handle clearing and settlement. Both are regulated US businesses within Payward. Hyperliquid would match and record the trades onchain.
That means a customer could access a market powered by Hyperliquid through a registered US broker, with regulated businesses responsible for operating it. This partnership is clear evidence of "Mike working to bring
@HyperliquidX within United States"
And for us at
@BL_labs_xyz , that’s huge because Payward’s approach gives us a potential blueprint to learn from to successfully build within the regulatory bounds while still offering the best tech.
Housing All Finance is merely an inevitability at this point
