❗️Ukrainian manufacturer DevDroid reports that more than 1,000 of its strike UGVs — the Droid TW-12.7 and Droid NW 40 — are already in service and have been combat-tested. While ground robots were previously used mainly for logistics and reconnaissance, strike platforms are no longer one-off prototypes: they are now being fielded in the thousands. As communications, autonomy, and the ability of robots to independently monitor the battlefield — rather than operate only under direct operator control — continue to improve, this trend will only accelerate.

🚨🇺🇦🚀 Ukrainian defense company Fire Point says its long-range FP-9 ballistic missile is approaching the final stage of development, with CEO Iryna Terekh saying the company plans to demonstrate a capability to reach Moscow by the end of autumn. Terekh stressed that Fire Point develops the weapon but does not select its targets, saying any decision on how the missile is used belongs to Ukraine’s Armed Forces. She personally expressed a desire to see Moscow targeted. According to Terekh, Fire Point began working on ballistic missiles less than two years ago: the shorter-range FP-7, with a range of 250–300 km, is already completed and undergoing codification, while the FP-9 is designed for a range of around 850 km and still faces a series of tests. 🔥 If the FP-9 successfully completes development and enters service, it would substantially expand the reach of Ukraine’s domestically produced ballistic arsenal. More importantly, it would give Kyiv another long-range strike platform developed at home, reducing its dependence on foreign-supplied systems and the political restrictions that can accompany them. What I genuinely don’t understand is why russia thinks every country around it has to live according to what russia wants. Poland is discussing producing Patriot missiles on Polish territory, as part of efforts to expand production for Ukraine and European defence. And somehow russia thinks its “military doctrine” should determine what Poland is allowed to do in Poland. Every country around russia is apparently the problem. Everyone is “hostile.” Everyone is “provoking” russia simply by making sovereign decisions Moscow doesn’t like. If you have a problem with everyone around you, maybe everyone around you isn’t the problem. Maybe you are.
