The Balancer hack is every blockchain project's worst nightmare. A very good team innovated in the DeFi space, had many audits from top-tier firms, and millions in TVL for years (since 2021?). I don't think the project did anything wrong, and it was more than reasonable to conclude Balancer was one of the safest DeFi projects out there, as I did. I'm sorry for the protocol's users, and for the protocol's team. I hope we get to see a nice ending where the hacker returns the funds minus a bounty.
