Networking is one word for it. I would argue that it's a back channel to address the dysfunctionality of third party and AI driven HR. If you're serious about getting a job, then get serious about going around the filters. The only fences that can keep you out are the ones in your mind.

On posts it had never seen, it told AI and human apart with 98% accuracy, getting only 19 of 1,740 wrong.
