What's missing is recognition that school in its current form is not a place where every child can thrive. There's no mention of the shaming behaviour strategies, how anxiety is used to motivate or how children are actively prevented from playing in order to sit in a desk. 10/
Also thrilled by Dr Jackie Musgrave's review "the author's have seized the opportunity that has come out of adversity to produce an exceptionally useful book...."
Thrilled by review received from Professor Jonathan Glazzard; "This is an excellent book overall. It is well-written and uses a clear, accessible style of writing which is beneficial to the reader. The book is a significant contribution to the field." @j_glazzard

Okay - so I am a glutton for punishment/need a stick to keep going - and as lots of mum's health issues are related to her diabetes, this is a cause close to my heart:swim22.diabetes.org.uk/fundr…
And on another note - some of you may know, others not, that I lost ALL of my contacts when my phone needed to be reset -so do contact/DM me with your numbers as I want to stay in touch but can't from this end atm.😪
So the 10K challenge is smashed - did an average of over 11.5K a day meaning at least 128 miles walked for BCH in February. Feeling so much better for it and only £15 still to raise to meet fundraising target :)
Half-way there - I not going to deny that I am glad it isn't a leap year 😄😄. All in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital though - donations can be made at facebook.com/donate/45621923… - all gratefully received 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Totally excited to have just been informed that our forthcoming book is on Critical's list of new titles: "Developing your professional identity", by Richards and Malomo, ISBN: 9781914171563 (publication date 04/22)😀😀 @wlv_sendis
There is an excellent contribution from @DrSana_Rizvee and @HelenKnowler on the need for all policies and initiatives to be anchored in inclusion and equity - see chapter in our recent book available here: taylorfrancis.com/chapters/e…@bphillipsonMP@MarilynLeask@sarahyounie
