Right-wing Gen Z politics are just remarkably self-destructive.
Trump is alienating Gen Z at such a rate that some polls put him underwater about 75-25, and the response of parts of the young right is to double down on being racist and unhinged and then turn to gullible right-wing boomers and say, "You don't want to lose the youth, do you?"
You're narrowing the young right coalition down to its most vicious and narrow core and somehow calling that a movement.
Update: TPUSA has now added a 4th event with Fishback. This isn’t just a rogue chapter. Fourth time is a pattern. It’s now becoming the TPUSA identity.
Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss, and South Alabama.
Again we told folks YEARS ago that these dudes existed and were influencing ppl in their pews, online, in gov and elsewhere and were told we were Neo-Marxist that made everything about race and CRT. Now they’re here and yall are shocked?? LOL!!! religionnews.com/2026/09/24/…
To my conservative Christian friends. Especially those who consider themselves fundamentalists. The day may come, and may already be here, when you are going to have to decide if you are going to follow Christ or choose kinism at the least and outright racism at the worst. The evidence that this toxic type of bigotry masquerading as Christianity is not fringe but has infiltrated significant portions of the church is becoming stronger every day.

A group of white guys have subtly inserted themselves into conservative institutions and church organizations. They all embrace racial grievances. To varying degrees, they embrace white nationalism, antisemitism, and even Nazi sympathies. They are getting added to conservative institutional boards, attempting to purge churches, and are desperate to indoctrinate young conservatives into fascist ideology. They even surround the Vice President of the United States. Some of them believe the United States is at a tipping point, and they want to push it over the edge and rebuild it in their image. You might think it does not affect you, but, in time, you will see their efforts in your church pews, in your kids’ brains, and in your politicians’ mouths. It begins with shampoo.

Our government posts memes and videos mocking and laughing at the suffering of immigrants and refugees. This is one more sick sign that something has broken in our souls.

Grieving tonight the death of Wendell Berry. No writer alive in my lifetime has shaped me more than Mr. Berry. Grateful for one who, in poems and essays, in novels and short stories, taught me how to stand by words.
Dolly Parton was unashamed but not shameless. She didn’t need everybody to love her and that’s why almost all of us did. My thoughts in the link below.
Malcolm @Gladwell came on the show to tell me what a bizarre church-based murder case in Alabama taught him about the death penalty and about forgiveness.

Rhetoric calling for war crimes is a moral horror, under any circumstances. Using the Bible to try to justify targeting civilian populations makes it even worse. It comes from, and leads to, hell.

Over at @notusperspect, several of us gave our answer to the question: where should Washington look for moral authority. We did not all agree. Link below.
He was a great Christian leader and a kind Christian man. Of all of his (many) accomplishments, I was always struck most of all by how much his children, amazing Christian leaders themselves, loved and respected him. That is a legacy beyond measure.
Grieving the death of my friend, hero, and fellow Mississippian John Perkins. He stood up to Jim Crow and stood up for Jesus Christ. Enter into the joy of rest brother. I am grateful for you.
