It has been three years since the horrific October 7 attack against the nation of Israel.
Some 1,200 innocent peopleโincluding women, children, and the elderlyโwere brutally murdered by Hamas, and many others were taken hostage.
As Bible-believing Christians, we stand in solidarity with our Jewish friendsโnot only in Israel, but around the world.
You are not alone. We stand with you.
This video was recorded shortly after the attack, when I was invited to the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles. Three years later, I still stand by what I said that day.
And today, I want to speak this biblical blessing from Numbers 6:24โ26 over the people of Israel and Jewish people around the world:

Father, awaken Your church.
Where we have grown cold, stir our hearts. Where we have become distracted, turn our eyes back to Jesus. Where sin has taken root, lead us to repentance. Where fear has silenced us, fill us with the Holy Spirit and give us boldness to speak Your Word.
As You promised, let times of refreshing come from Your presence. Wake us up, strengthen what remains, restore our first love, and make us hungry again for Your Word, Your holiness, and Your glory.
Lord, revive Your people, not for our reputation, but so that Christ may be seen through us and the lost may come to know Him.

Father, search our hearts and show us anything in us that does not honor You. โCreate in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within meโ (Psalm 51:10).
Teach us that repentance is more than feeling sorry. It is agreeing with You about our sin, confessing it honestly, and turning from it to follow You. Give us godly sorrow that produces repentance and leads to life (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Lord Jesus, we confess that we have sinned in thought, word, action, and desire. Forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Where we have wandered, turn our hearts back to You. Where we have made excuses, give us humility. Where we have resisted Your Word, give us obedience.
Thank You that repentance does not drive us away from You, but brings us running toward Your mercy. Help us bear fruit in keeping with repentance and walk today in the newness of life You have given us through Christ.
