Baseball players: As Opening Day nears, prioritize your sleep. The likelihood of injury based on 6 hours of sleep (74%) vs. 8 hours of sleep (35%) more than doubles. —— Sleep loss also showed a direct correlation to lack of plate discipline across all 30 MLB clubs

➡️Lateral Skips➡️ 🎯Lateral Skip are a important part of developing posterior and anterior strength within the hip! 🎯Finding rhythm in lateral movement can increase muscle recruitment and helps athletes fire in correct movement partners. @baseball_HU

👨🏿‍🎨Creative Saturday’s👨🏿‍🎨 🦿Today I experimented with an RDL variation which I definitely enjoyed, and will implement with my athletes in the future. 🦿Having a history of back problems. I have to find different ways to comfortably load lower body movements and still lift heavy

🏃🏾‍♂️What’s the key to acceleration? 💨In most acceleration drills the the primary goal is to get triple extension! 💨What is triple extension ? 💨It’s when the ankle, knee, and hip are all extended in unison.

Speed can be simple ! Yeah fancy drills our nice🙄 But as a coach it’s your jobs to provide your athletes with CUES to help them reach the desired results!

🚀Vertical movement complex ☄️Vertical force isn’t always the easiest to transfer to sprinting. ☄️A way to develop this is to use complexes. ☄️Combine vertical ploys with top end sprint mechanic work. ☄️Be sure to know the level of the athletes to know where to start.
