Already have MetaMask? You don't need another wallet to use Injective.
You can add
@injective's native EVM network directly to MetaMask and keep using the same wallet across Injective's EVM environment.
I've gone through the setup so you don't have to dig through the little details.
⋆ The easy way
First, make sure MetaMask is installed and unlocked.
Then head to Injective's MultiVM page:
multivm.injective.com/
Find Add Mainnet and select Add INJ Mainnet.
Approve the connection in MetaMask, then switch your network to Injective.
That's basically it.
Your MetaMask wallet is now connected to Injective.
You can use the same wallet to manage
$INJ, connect to Injective dApps and interact with the EVM environment.
⋆ Want to add it manually?
You can also add Injective as a custom network in MetaMask.
Use:
Network Name: Injective
RPC URL:
sentry.evm-rpc.injective.net…
Chain ID: 1776
Currency Symbol: INJ
Block Explorer:
blockscout.injective.network
Save it, switch to Injective and you're good.
I'd personally use the Add Mainnet option from Injective rather than manually typing everything, just because there's less room to mistype an RPC or chain ID.
⋆ What about the tokens?
Adding the network doesn't automatically mean every Injective asset will appear in MetaMask.
If you need to add specific assets manually, Injective lists:
Wrapped INJ (WINJ)
`0x0000000088827d2d103ee2d9A6b781773AE03FfB`
USDC (native, CCTP-enabled)
`0xa00C59fF5a080D2b954d0c75e46E22a0c371235a`
There's also USDC.legacy, which Injective identifies as bridged and deprecated.
So yeah, don't blindly import whichever USDC address you find somewhere.
⋆ One wallet, different dApps
Once MetaMask is connected to Injective, you don't need to switch wallets every time you use another Injective dApp.
Connect MetaMask to the app you want and your Injective address stays consistent across the ecosystem.
The same setup also lets you use MetaMask with Injective Hub for staking.
⋆ Need to fund it?
There are a few routes.
You can buy INJ on a supported exchange and withdraw it to your Injective address, bridge assets from supported networks through the Injective Bridge, or use the fiat on-ramp linked by Injective.
The Bridge supports networks including Ethereum, Solana and Cosmos IBC-enabled chains.
Whichever route you use, double-check the network and wallet address before confirming.
A wrong network is not something you want to figure out after hitting send.
So the whole setup is basically:
MetaMask → Add Injective → switch network → use your existing wallet across Injective
And tbh, that's the part that makes the setup pretty straightforward.
You're not creating another wallet.
You're adding another network to the one you already use.
