Dynadot is at API World Conference in Santa Clara, California. A full 25% of our registration volume comes through our API. Our API supports 900 tlds, expired auctions, coupon codes, Afternic/Sedo and full account management. The best API in the domain industry in my opinion.

Ray King (founder of Porkbun) and I have teamed up to launch Oinkadot, a new registry that has applied for 25 new TLDs. What made partnering with Ray easy is that we’ve always shared the same values: treat customers well, think long term, and do the right thing. We still have the ICANN contention process ahead of us, so we don’t yet know which TLDs we will ultimately launch. But over the coming months, I’d love to hear your ideas. If we’re creating new places on the Internet, we want to build places people actually want to be.

We have custom chat, ticket and email systems. On AWS we have 200+ instances. It is a pretty complex system, and it takes a lot of engineers and code to keep things running smoothly.

Dynadot finally added dark mode, a feature customers have been requesting for several years. We had to rewrite our entire front end framework to implement this cleanly. We could have added it to our previous 24 year old framework, but the code would have been messy. For a registrar is more important to do things right than fast.
