September 30th is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Today, we pause to honour survivors, remember those who were lost, and reflect on our shared journey toward reconciliation
Our Centre and Cafe will be closed today. We will reopen tomorrow, October 1st, at 8 AM.
Today, Program Room participants learned about Truth and Reconciliation through educational videos, colouring activities, and traditional Indigenous music.
Tomorrow, we pause to honour survivors, remember those who were lost, and reflect on our shared journey toward reconciliation

Over the past couple weeks, participants have enjoyed learning about what happens to garbage after it leaves our building and why it’s important to sort our recycling and keep food out of landfills by composting.

Throughout the week, Program Room Clients train in our kitchen and build valuable culinary and workplace skills through hands-on training.
From meal planning and food preparation to safe food handling, each shift allows participants to learn in an inclusive environment.
