Everyone is sharing what Opus 5.5 can build this week, and it made us ask ourselves a different question: when making things becomes this easy, what do we actually want to make and why? Our answer was a small retro arcade, the kind we grew up hanging out in, filled with 21 games made by independent developers. Every cabinet carries the name of the person who built its game. Totally understand that feeling.😖 Real learning is lost while the LLMs learn everything. Everyone and their grandma can generate stuff with prompts. I miss those times when people who share tutorials and code, based on their learnings. Many good blogs/creatives have gone quiet now. They don’t even feel like sharing their insights or ideas because no one respects it, and someone will just feed it as context to an LLM.😂 It’s quite disheartening from that perspective. But, I still respect and love seeing people create projects from scratch. People who actually care. Best to use AI for learning, but always use your own mind to implement things. Or filter search results to before 2022 and find hidden gems.
