A pleasure to meet @KGeorgieva in Brussels. @IMFnews remains a vital partner in supporting Ukraine in the face of Russia’s continued aggression. We discussed 🇺🇦 evolving financing needs and agree on the importance of close coordination. Momentum to deliver structural reforms also must be kept.

In my first meeting with 🇺🇦 PM @KoretskyiUA, we discussed Ukraine’s financial needs for 2026–27. We focused on the implementation of reforms linked to 🇪🇺 funding and 2027 financial strategy preparation. It is essential that international partners deliver on their commitments, strengthening Ukraine alongside the EU.

On the sidelines of the @g20org meetings, I had my first meeting with Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh. I congratulated Chairman Warsh on his new role and expressed my readiness to continue the dialogue and cooperation between our institutions. We discussed the economic growth outlook, as well as productivity and competitiveness issues in the EU and U.S., respectively. The 🇪🇺 and 🇺🇸 are vital transatlantic partners and, as such, have a shared interest in each other’s success.
