I used to have this issue with a friend of mine Anytime we got to a park and a driver called a price he didn’t like, he would immediately start insulting the driver, calling him a thief, a criminal, saying the price was ridiculous, then walk away. And I’d always wonder, why the fight? I'm my mind, the driver is free to price his service however he wants. He isn’t forcing you to enter his vehicle, and you’re under no obligation to pay him. Maybe you’re simply not his target customer. You can negotiate. You can decline. You can find another driver. That’s business. And that’s why I’m genuinely surprised by some of the backlash this guy is getting over his N1m masterclass. You can question whether the value matches the price. You can decide it’s too expensive for you. You can even choose a cheaper alternative. But if it’s not for you, just leave it. Not every product has to be priced for everybody.

It's how everyone is so focused on the money, and not the possible value or outcome. We're focused on the wrong thing, it shouldn't be a thing of "the 1m is too expensive!" The better question is: "Can the skill I gain from this realistically produce more than N1m in value over the next few years?" If the answer is yes, then the conversation becomes very different. Let's think rationally please!

So i did something with my portfolio i changed the "what I've had on loop" from static data to update in real time Every hour a cron job pulls my Spotify plays and saves them in Redis. The page reads from Redis, so whatever I keep replaying shows here. shenixo.vercel.app

As much as I'd like to act like I didn't care much and just winged it, I did not. A lot of thought went into not just selecting the tweets but also when I applied. I was eligible on Sept 11 but did not send it in as I did not feel like I had a strong standing. Sent it yesterday at 10:50am and got approved at 7:54pm. I'll go over each of the selected tweets, why I chose them, and also the 20 not chosen and why I dropped them out, even if some performed wayyyy better than my selection.

I was just in JSS2 when I received a life changing slap from an SS3 prefect. This slap landed straight on my ear. I heard ringing for weeks. Till date, I can’t hear properly with my left ear. And I never said a word to my parents. I’ve been cursing him since then.

My software engineer friends say AI has made their jobs mostly grunt work. The models automate the parts they used to enjoy, leaving humans with the hardest, least enjoyable parts of the job.

With the rise of content creation, I’m increasingly anxious about how social media companies store the insane amount of content uploaded every second. YouTube and TikTok especially, hundreds of hours of HD video are uploaded every minute. Their data centres are already massive and keep expanding daily. Do we eventually reach a point where there’s simply not enough space for them? And what about the enormous amount of energy and resources required to store, manage and cool all those servers? The more I think about it, the more my head spirals 😭
