I need a break from our bleak reality. What’s something good that’s happened to you recently? I’ll start: my 4 y/o was ill with an infection but is getting better and I’ve started writing poetry again (and I’m enjoying it immensely).

My elderly cat stopped puking and has started to put on a little weight AND her kidney disease isn't progressing. We've been together 14 years, and it will NEVER be long enough.
