That line is "I got there and I'm afraid you'll check back."
Mostly the flush. Some two pair sweating it. Rarely air.

Acting strength. That stare-down bet is mostly air, some thin value, rarely the nuts. Strong hands want a call, not a confrontation.
Call wider against it.

You flop a set against top pair. You're about 90% to win the hand.
So why check? Slow playing wins a small pot, and top pair is already happy to put money in. That's the whole point of a set.

If he had two spades, he'd know. He's checking for one. That range is rarely a flush.
Charge the draws bigger and value bet your flushes wider.

Mostly marginal value afraid of a scare card. Some draws setting their own price. Rarely the nuts hoping you raise.
The first two give up by the turn. Raise more leads.

That bet is mostly air, some marginal value. Made hands stay tight. Bluffs exhale.
If he relaxes after committing chips, he's already folding to your raise.

1) You check-call twice, so your range never holds the nuts
2) Good players see the cap and bet huge
3) Your bluff catchers face max pressure with zero info
Raise sometimes on earlier streets. An uncapped range is armor.
