I have been reluctant to speak publicly about a private matter, but what has happened over the past few weeks has gone beyond a personal disagreement. It is now affecting my reputation, my home, my wife and my family, and I believe I need to put my side of the story on record.

A friend called me today. He’s already asked twice to borrow money. I told him I’m spread thin right now and have the IRS on my neck that I’m paying back.
I asked why he can’t ask his wife. He said he doesn’t want her to know what he wants to do with the money.
I asked what he needs it for. He said he bought a house in Naija, has paid 50m, and just needs to pay this month’s installment. His wife must not know.
Why do men do this? You think your wife doesn’t know, but she does, and she’s probably doing the same behind your back.

No !! the US is not the only one allowed to mine, and they don’t get 100% ownership of the minerals.
This is a framework agreement to attract US investment and local processing, not an exclusive concession.
Nigeria still owns the resources in the ground. Licenses go to whoever meets the rules (US, Chinese, or others). Companies pay royalties/taxes and now have to process more in-country. The contract can be ended; it doesn’t hand over title to the minerals.
I agree with you but who has 100% ownership of the minerals mined, doesn’t it automatically belongs to the US?
We can only end the contract but as long as the contract is ON then it benefits the US, there’s no place that stated we could own a percentage of the mined resources

98% of relatively successful married men would cheat at least once in their life time.
Just make sure you marry someone who wouldn’t see cheating as his birth right and consistently cheat on you with every woman with a hole in between her legs.
