Not sure if I'm "allowed" to share this, but here it goes: When I first saw the internal plans and ideas around Disney Pinnacle by @dapperlabs, I was skeptical. It just didn't make sense to me 🤷 I'd never heard of the physical Disney Pins, and hadn't been to the parks much. I thought it was kinda odd. Why Pins? Then I went to Disney. I saw the rows and shelves of Pins in every area of the park. I saw the crowds gathering to trade with each other. I saw countless people walking around rocking the Pins to show off the characters they grew up watching. I saw people obsess over the tiniest details and get excited by a rare Pin. I was hooked, jumping in the queue, buying Dumbo Pins, stoked to own something I didn't even know about the day before. There I was, stacking Pins and loving it. I messaged @Alanfalcon the next day telling him that @DisneyPinnacle was an incredible idea and all my skepticism was from ignorance of the community and intrinsic fun around Disney Pins. He held back on the "I told you so" 😅 Now imagine that community being able to collect on mobile, from anywhere in the world, and with true insight into mint counts, rarity, sales history, provenance, etc. That's @DisneyPinnacle. The Pin Hunter community has been super welcoming and friendly, making me absolutely love the experience. From stacking @DPIN_Official for general exposure, to hand picking my favourites during Marketplace events, or frantically checking the revolving storefront every 4 hours to see what I can get. It went from a "I'm super skeptical of this" to "This is my favourite app." Just by stepping in and trying it out. If you haven't yet, sign up to @DisneyPinnacle and give the magic a try. I have a feeling you'll absolutely love it ✨

An Uber was waiting downstairs to take me to surgery. The 5 min countdown had started. I was next up, about to pitch live to thousands of Web3's finest. I only needed 4 minutes. My project made the ETHGlobal finals out of 814 projects, 1st on @arc, a prize from @graphprotocol. I hadn't seen the email (ofc I hadn't!) and had it not been for the legends Pascal & Kartik finding a way to message me on Slack and Telegram, I likely never would have realized. This year's ETHOnline had 1,462 builders from 89 countries, Web3's premier hackathon experience. In our industry, sometimes the person you're pitching to across the table later becomes the person building next to you. After judging and mentoring at nearly a dozen ETHGlobal hackathons, I put my builder hoodie back on, alone, and pulled my first all-nighter in a decade. But I very nearly didn't. What I mean by that is my brain quite literally tried to rug me. You see, the night of the submission I felt as though the project was 80% complete. By my normal bedtime, my eyelids grew heavy and the siren sheets sang. Then came the whispers of inner negotiation: 'just go to sleep, if you wake up super early at 6am you will still have 3 hours before the deadline, that's a lot of time!' Midnight struck. I felt the project was 90% of the way there, so I put on my pajamas and lay down. Then the internal monologue struck again, this time with a different logic entirely. With Goggins-level abuse, it told me not to be lazy, that if I was wrong about needing only 3 hours, I risked everything I had built. If I was right, I could always go to bed before 3am, sleep in longer and still submit the project properly. I ended up submitting the project at 7am (def get started earlier folks, this is not veteran builder advice!). I severely underestimated, in my sleep-deprived poor executive function state, how much work would be needed to complete the submission. I remember thinking to myself how that moment of literally forcing myself out of bed had changed everything. The way I typically do hackathons is very product-centric. I very rarely end up working on the project I initially think of after I vet it, but rather a better one that I pivot to along the way. The majority of the time I spend is thinking about what the actual problem is that is being solved, and why the heck web3 matters at all to solve it. I find too often we're tempted to look at bounties and create Frankensteins that seem to appease what sponsors are looking for instead of thinking about who the people actually impacted are going to be. Now, not every hack is a startup, but if you treat how you approach your project like a startup founder, doing proper research, searching for signs of PMF and market demand, showing how you found the problem (and how big it is), seeing what else currently exists and why this solution is better, being able to describe it in an elevator pitch etc., I guarantee you that you will stand out. So... What did I build in the end? OpenBook: Fresh data or your money back, for AI agents. A lot of my day job work recently has revolved around thinking about agents, everything from developer documentation and education giving way to AI-parsable context, MCP servers and skill bundles, to how agentic economies operate onchain and what blockchain has to offer them. What occurred to me: agents and robotic systems need fresh data. Data from one second ago is worth more to prediction markets, drones and robotaxis than data from a minute ago. How do you go beyond x402 and nanopayments and create incentives around guaranteeing freshness? That question kicked off a lot of thinking that transmuted into a product. How it works. A promise stops being a promise when it is a payment condition. The buyer's USDC sits in escrow until the delivery, stamped with the block The Graph indexed it at, proves the seller kept its word. Fresh? The seller is paid. Stale? The money comes back in the same transaction. That is what finally gives stale data a price curve: three-second data and three-minute data cannot sell for the same number once the seller stakes its fee on the window it promised (btw, paying gas fees in a stablecoin on Arc was awesome, as was their agent stack!). In the demo I gave live, an agent asks for odds under 10 seconds old, gets them 3 seconds old, and the seller is paid. Then it asks for odds under a tenth of a second old. No seller can hit that, so the contract refunds it in full. Nobody had to ask. What this also does is turn any of The Graph's 15,000+ subgraphs into its own potential market with one line (id, schema, freshness window, price), with @ensdomains as the identity layer. Freshness is only the first market on this rail. The contract checks a statement instead of trusting data, so provenance, correctness and computation drop into the same escrow, the same names, the same books. Every promise a machine can verify becomes a market. What data would you pay more for if it came with a freshness guarantee? Links in the reply.

Agents like OpenClaw feel alive because of the heartbeat, not the model. Something wakes up, looks around, and acts without being asked. Flow gives that pulse as a primitive to onchain agents and contracts themselves, turning them into persistent automatons.

Most early stage consumer brands never seriously plan for athlete partnerships. The assumption is that one athlete would eat a big chunk of the quarterly marketing budget, so it never makes it into the strategy. That assumption is usually wrong, and few companies have anyone in-house positioned to correct it. That's why I've launched Ebbets Athlete Marketing, a consulting firm that helps consumer brands build athlete partnerships. The big talent shops are built for Fortune 500 budgets and max contract players. They aren't usually taking calls from a brand with a four or five figure budget, which leaves a lot of good companies with no real way in. So they either overpay for the wrong athlete, or decide the whole idea isn't for them. I spent years running athlete partnerships and have negotiated hundreds of deals with the agencies that represent the biggest names in sports. I can usually get brands an answer in hours instead of weeks. That experience also teaches you which athletes show up and put in real effort, and how to tell the difference between an athlete looking for a check and one looking for an actual partnership. I'm not an agent, and that matters. Nobody is paying me to place a particular client. Ebbets does three things: 1. Finds the right athlete, usually not the most famous one available. 2. Sources and negotiates the deal. 3. Makes sure you actually use what you paid for, which is where most partnerships quietly fail. The name is a nod to Ebbets Field, which stood a block from where I live in Brooklyn. If you're building something and think an athlete partnership could help you grow it, don't hesitate to reach out.

This is the only @NFLAllDay update that I can post until something from the official account is announced. - No New Moments are expected to be released from this season's play as they are not partnered with the NFLPA, they also cannot use content with active players at this time. - Historical Moments are possible, as are releases since the NFLPA doesn't control retired players, so it's a possibility this season. - Playbook is not expected this season at this time, but they are working on something 'related' that could be released. - Founding Collector Badge is awaiting final approvals, and could be released as soon as this week. - Moments purchased between May 13th, and September 9th will be eligible for the 5% rebate, subject to the 12-month hold on the purchased Moment and must remain in your account. - Moments won't be mass unlocked at this time. - Dapper and the NFL still have a strong working relationship from what I've heard. - Dapper is working with the NFL on securing self-custody and IPFS for Moments. - Both the NFL and NFLPA are committed to keeping the marketplace alive, including updates as needed. - Both the website and application received updates today. - A new collection page was released today including more features for seeing what you own. - A new marketplace display, with redesigned browsing and search filters. - Direct gifting as been enabled, skipping the need to create gift packs. - Bulk Buying has been enabled in the marketplace. With the NFL season kicking off tonight this is as much information as I could find and put together on what to expect and updates – if there are any additions or substantial updates to provide I'll update.

ankrFLOW Security Incident (August 31) Postmortem No ankrFLOW holder and no MORE Markets depositor has lost funds. ankrFLOW staking is paused and will remain paused until a verified contract upgrade is live. Here is exactly what happened, why the code involved existed, and where things stand. Background: two token designs, one was chosen. Liquid staking tokens follow two standard designs, and we built both for Flow: • Yield-bearing (cert token): fixed quantity, value grows as staking rewards accrue, one token is steadily worth more than one FLOW. • Rebasing (bond token): value pegged 1:1 with FLOW, rewards arrive as newly minted tokens are distributed pro-rata, value is constant, quantity grows. We developed both and let the Flow team choose. They chose the yield-bearing model, which became ankrFLOW. The bond token was therefore not going to be used, and we disabled it. The contracts were audited in that state. Root cause After the audit but before release, a referral feature was introduced so launch partners could be credited for the deposits they brought in. This added a mint-with-code function to both token types, cert and bond. This is where the gap opened: • The referral function reintroduced a path to mint bond tokens. • The pause we had applied to bond staking was not extended to this new function. • Because the bond model had been set aside, this path received less scrutiny than it should have, and shipped without the same pause enforcement as the original. How the exploit worked Two things had to line up: 1. The attacker could mint bond tokens at a flat 1:1 rate against FLOW via the referral function. 2. The contracts include a bond → cert swap priced at the cert token's true accrued exchange rate, written on the assumption that only one model would ever be live, so a bond position was never expected to exist. With both paths open, the attacker minted bond at 1:1, swapped into cert at its real (higher) rate, captured the difference, and looped. Critically, the per-loop gain was fixed by the accrued rate difference, which bounded how much the exploit could extract. Impact • The attacker supplied the resulting ankrFLOW as collateral on MORE Markets and borrowed 15,488,124 WFLOW. That position remains open and unliquidated. • As a result, approximately 8.65M ankrFLOW (~5% of supply) is currently unbacked. • No ankrFLOW holder and no MORE Markets depositor has lost funds. Status & next steps • ankrFLOW staking is paused and stays paused until a contract upgrade is deployed and verified. • We are working directly with the Flow Foundation and the MORE team on remediation and on the outstanding position. • Further updates will follow as the upgrade is finalized.
