For our OGs, we shipped one more feature in Carbon just for you: MIGRATE.
As you may know, we introduced our V2 vault architecture some time ago. V2 represents us doubling down on transparency.
Every investment carries risk, and we believe depositors should be able to see clearly what strategy a vault uses, where capital is deployed, and what risks they are taking.
That means more choice, but more importantly, better clarity.
The highest yield is not always the best investment. High yields look great when everything is going well, but markets do not stay that way forever.
With MIGRATE, OG depositors can seamlessly move their positions from our legacy vaults into the newer V2 architecture and build their portfolio with a clearer understanding of both risk and reward.

MIGRATE also significantly reduces the time it takes to move your funds.
With a manual transfer, you would first need to wait an entire epoch to unstake, earning no yield during that period. After that, you would need to queue for another epoch before entering the new vault.
With MIGRATE, we cut the entire process down to just one queued epoch.
Less waiting. Less idle capital. A much smoother move into V2.

🚨 IMPORTANT:
Our V1 vaults will continue operating for now, but we plan to sunset all V1 vaults by the end of this year (31 December 2026) as we complete the transition.
As we gradually unwind positions within V1, we also expect yields on these vaults to decline over time.
We highly recommend using MIGRATE sooner rather than later so your capital can begin earning within the new vault architecture.
